Beyond New Horizons

Beyond New Horizons is the successor of the community loved New Horizons mod for the Pirates of Caribbean (Sea Dogs 2) game released in 2003. 

Based on the newest engine in the Sea Dogs series, the standalone mod features new content, greater engine stability and revised gameplay elements all to make it the ultimate pirates saga game by bringing it to the second decade of the twenty first century. 

Features of the New Horizons mod, such as selectable storylines, a freeplay mode, realism settings and different playing styles have not only been combined with qualities of the later entries in the Sea Dogs series (smuggling, international relations and the ability to capture colonies) but also with the open-source “Storm” engine of Sea Dogs To Each His Own. 

With the result of this exciting combination being free-to-play we hope to bring you hours of enjoyment and excitement.
