i get a crash a few seconds after i use the world map to travel. every single time... any idea why this could be? your help would be greatly appreciated. I have been trying for so long to play this game.
to be more specific, i think this only happens when i choose england as a starter town, as soon as i leave into the world map, it crashes within a few seconds. it also feels like i hit an invisible wall.

We've been getting reports about various issues caused by downloading the game manually. It appears there is a problem with itch.io causing the zip download to get corrupted. Can you check how large your game folder is? Is should be around ~14 GB.
Downloading the game through the itch client seems to solve these issues, so you can also try doing that. (You can don't have to use the client post-download if you don't want to).
If that is not the actual problem, you can find the latest game logs in `Documents\My Games\Sea Dogs\Logs`. Can you zip those up and send them to me.
I would also recommend joining the Discord for easier communitation.
Did the "Hoist The Colors" campaign get removed?
That storyline has not yet been fully tested.
Unstable storylines have been disabled by default. If you want to help test them, you can enable them in `modules/extra_storylines/module.toml`
